1. This competition is promoted by the Earth Hour Global team at WWF International. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. By entering this competition you are agreeing that, if you win, your name, photo and entry may be a) used for the purpose of announcing the winner and/or distributed to individuals who request details of the winner and/or b) in any related publicity by Earth Hour, without additional payment or permission. 
3. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
4. Employees of Earth Hour or WWF and their immediate families are not allowed to enter the competition. 
5. Any personal information you give us will be used solely for this competition and will not be passed on to any other parties without your agreement.
6. You must be at least 16 years of age to enter this competition. 
7. The opening date for entries is 25/01/2022. The closing date for entries is 25/03/2022. Entries received after this date will NOT be considered as part of the competition. Winners will be chosen: 10/4/2022
8. Due to our merchandising partner’s shipping restrictions, only individuals residing in the following countries indicated below are eligible to enter this competition and receive prizes. 
9. Five winners will be selected and ten shortlisted 
10. Earth Hour reserves the right in their reasonable discretion to disqualify an entry.
11. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
12. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram within 10 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 
13. Earth Hour’s decision as to who has won the competition shall be final.

Eligibility to receive prizes

While anyone is free to submit a story, we unfortunately will only be able to select our winners and distribute prizes based on our merchandising partner's shipping restrictions. If you are a participant currently residing in any of  the following countries below, you are eligible to win this contest.
